I mentioned that we have clay on the groud, and despite the 10 tons of gravel we put on there when the bach arrived, it is still always muddy, as soon as it rained. Thus, in order to not have a swampy lawn, we dug some trenches for drainage. And boy, was that hard work! If it is dry, you can't get a spade into the ground, and when it is wet, the clay sticks to the spade, shoes, and to everything around - yuk! So, with spade, shovel and pick-axe we dug the trenches for drainage, and a couple of underground power cables. Well, I must give Neil huge credit, since he did most of the digging. He was determined to get it done, and he did!
Of course, I forgot my camera again, and had to take a few photos with the Blackberry :(
